I couldn’t stand it anymore. These are adults.
Some of whom we elected and others are supposed to be the best and the brightest of industry.
The questions were smarmy, as though the geeks and dweebs finally got to kick around the bullies.
Both sides come across as no more or less stupid than we.
I couldn’t watch anymore, it was as though they didn’t know they were on TV.
Like a well-dressed Gong Show, with no gong.
The CEO’s claimed they fucked-up but whined why they had to be grilled about the 15 to 35 billion dollars they needed or didn’t need or just wanted to have as back-up.
When Wall Street just waltzed in and got billions with no questions?
Wah!
Well, that’s the answer: Wall Street should’ve been grilled. Instead our elected officials wrote a blank check.
We’re not sure where 350 billion went… 350 billion.
Evidently Wall Street didn’t need the money that bad, since they went out and bought more banks.
Where I fall on this issue of “bailing out” is irrelevant, since I’m irrelevant my opinion will remain irrelevant.
So my point is this: Tune in, watch these people, come to your own conclusion.
We have people claiming stupidity as their defense, luckily those asking the questions are barely competent/stupid or in on the little charade.
They make millions, prove they’re incompetent and get bailed out.
When my time comes, I shall fuck-up, claim incompetence and/or stupidity and wait for my bailout.
I’ll wait for my bailout because the thought of being asked a million stupid, meaningless, inane questions would cause me to pause and consider suicide.
Trying to decide if the money was worth the pain the procession of synapse–free questions asked by elected officials would cause.
Knowing all the bailout money I was given would go to therapists dealing with the trauma and brain atrophy caused by the process itself.
No one is to be trusted.
Questions must be asked.
By,we, the people.
Here’s my first: What the fuck is going on?
nothing is as ever as it seems, even if it feels like it is.
trust?? does that really exist anymore?? when was the last time you could really trust someone??
funny how when we let one of our most basic needs, such as trust, fly out the window......everything follows.
you would think that "WE".....the fucking people, would get a clue!!
