Twilight Movie Review - not mine

The book that has the entire world buzzing with excitement is “Twilight.” The first book in a four-part series, “Twilight,” about a vampire and a girl that fall in love must fight to keep their love from being ripped apart by other vampires. Now this amazing book has been made into a movie that is drawing just as much attention.

The story starts in Phoenix, Arizona, with a slender young girl with brown hair and brown eyes named Bella Swan, whose mother has just remarried and is sending her to stay with her father in Forks, Washington. Bella has never really fit in anywhere, and when she meets an incredibly handsome young man by the name of Edward Cullens, she immediately feels a connection. Edward, however, isn't who he seems to be. He has a dark and somewhat frightening secret: he is a vampire. Unlike other vampires, Edward lacks fangs. Edward and his family also have chosen not to drink the blood of humans and instead quench their endless thirst on the blood of animals. One of Edward's vampire powers is his ability to read minds. His only limitation is Bella's mind, which he cannot seem to get into.

As Bella and Edward spend more and more time together, the two begin to develop feelings for each other. Edward begins to believe that Bella is exactly what he has been waiting so long for -- a soul mate. But a new group of vampires comes to town and threatens the couple's new-found love. Can the two lovers survive this new threat? You have to see the movie to find that out.
