Jay Busse (idiot savant) writes words, gives opinions and looks forward to your opinions. I am not a journalist, which puts me ahead of many the blabbering, self-inflating bobbleheads spewing "news" at us on TV. Because I actually realize I'm not a journalist. Suicidal Utopia: For peeple that rede gud.

The Princess Bride

I love this movie. It's got romance, adventure, giants, singing eels, a damsel in distress, really good bad guys, great sword fight, “sheesh it's hella good.”

And its good for kids from 1 to 92! There's a lot to love in this fable...check out the classic “battle of wits” scene above.

It's a simple story told brilliantly filled with colorful characters. Buttercup is Wesley's love, but she is being forced to marry a royal d-bag. Wesley is lost, broken. He ends up on a pirate ship where he learns sword play and much of dark side of the world.

Alas, Buttercup is kidnapped and Wesley, against the advice of his broken heart, cannot not try to save her.

Against obstacles of mythic proportions he fights on, over and through each one, until he dies.

No that's not the end. It's where yet another hysterical scene involving Miracle Max comes in.

Don't miss this one!

As you wish...

As an aside: I thought The Dread Pirate Roberts was fictional. It turns out he was the most successful and fear inducing pirate of all time.
