John Travolta hot off Vinny Barbarino success in Welcome Back Kotter does more Vinny Bararino only bigger. And apparently had his testicle removed for the songs, that's dedication. Travolta and Olivia Newton-John are summer lovers until Olivia transfers to Travolta's high school. Travolta's supposed to be a lady killer, it appears as though he's a softy that's fallen for the snow white pure Olivia. He takes a ribbing, finds scientology and... oh, that's later. Here, he takes a ribbing and then decides to follow his heart. But it may be too late! Spontaneous songs erupt without notice, much to our delight. It's also been rumored that Bowzer from Sha-na-na had to kick Travolta in the nuts before the high notes...and there are plenty of high notes and not just in travolta's songs.
