This is a saying we use all the time, most of the time in our head.

"I don't give a shit."

Very little thought is given to its meaning, hence I  thought about it.

If someone complains about the equivalent of a mosquito bite as though they had just had their kidney stolen with a garden spade and were bleeding-out in front of you...

"I don't give a shit."

It means: If I had a shit in my hand, I'd rather keep the shit than give any thought and/ or feedback to your self-centered, ill-conceived, infinitely meaningless, non-existent problem.

It means: I'll keep the shit, thank you very much. Rather than give your synapse-free babbling any thought in my already over-taxed kinda stupified brain.

I'll just use my easy axiom in my head to file this: I don't give a shit.

Now, saying it out loud could lead to a good pummeling, so it's usually best to keep this internal.

But there you have it, yet another mystery unraveled that no one needed unraveled or thought was a mystery until I pointed out that no one gave any thought to it and then it was a mystery.
