Is it official? No.

It's a slam-dunk for Obama. We, the smokers are people (not considered worthy people) that can be taxed without question, or representation.

We are a quiet bunch paying a tad more than we should in taxes.

But what the heck, the lawyers made huge money suing tobacco companies, so what's their motivation?

We, the smokers are a quietly suffering group, therefore not being squeaky we get no grease.

I can only assume Obama checked out all the angles on how to fund this project WE the smokers are now funding. I would hate to think he wanted this done and dumped it on smokers because it was easy.

It is easy to dump on smokers, we have no voice, we just want to be left alone. Alas, it is not to be.

You may also want to tax alcohol and anything fun... anything that allows us to escape or have any fun deserves to be taxed.
