Jay Busse (idiot savant) writes words, gives opinions and looks forward to your opinions. I am not a journalist, which puts me ahead of many the blabbering, self-inflating bobbleheads spewing "news" at us on TV. Because I actually realize I'm not a journalist. Suicidal Utopia: For peeple that rede gud.

Cemeteries, and their Worth

Kim and I took a goat-like walk up a hill overlooking Sonoma.

Being from Wisconsin, this was a mountainous journey.

Dead people everywhere, as would be expected from a cemetery.

First I noticed how the social strata continues in death... huge monuments for the rich, small or none for the poor (this was supposed to be a nice walk. Kim enjoys the beauty of the walk).

We got about half way (and she was sure sick of my bitchin', since it is a tad steep and there are no jamba juice's)... then  I saw a car. And made the mistake of asking "why didn't we drive up here?".

"It's a walk! "

OK.

We walked among the prominent and regular dead. (They all seemed the same)

I dare not offend the Veterans (since I am not). But I must say: If I were a dead Veteran (or dead person at all) I would not be raising money for flowers for graves, but for those living (veterans or their families).

The land itself is prime for development. Except for the Poltergeist thing.

Therefore, as I saw cemeteries as wasteful.

I now put it in my head as preservation.

If you want your land preserved, bury people on it with great ceremony and much money. Or put a church on it.

I doubt that God (omniscient and omnipotent), has an adsense account with Google.

If you walk by you get a click. If you say the name you get another click.

My point is simple: If we're gonna keep breeding, we're gonna be more intrusive on the environment.

Fields of dead people are not gonna help the future.
