Jay Busse (idiot savant) writes words, gives opinions and looks forward to your opinions. I am not a journalist, which puts me ahead of many the blabbering, self-inflating bobbleheads spewing "news" at us on TV. Because I actually realize I'm not a journalist. Suicidal Utopia: For peeple that rede gud.

JP Morgan Chase/ I'm Glad My Name's Not On It/ Why Do They Exist?

I'll admit it. I'm a tad miffed. I feel like the normal person just working here is getting screwed. Everyday I turn on the TV and the talking bobble-heads tell me how I'm getting screwed.

Hence, the semi-rational rant:

JP Morgan Chase/I'm Glad My Name's Not On It/ Why Do They Exist?

JP Morgan Chase, Why?

Let me re-cap what I've been told: Bear Stearns goes belly-up. Chase buys them.

We give Chase 32 billion dollars, they buy Washington Mutual Bank.

Chase raises my credit card rate from 6.99% to 25% (not late or over limit) or I'm forced to close it (which damages my credit and lowers my credit line by 12 grand) and keep the terms "as is" until the introductory rate runs out, when it will go to 25%.

When I accepted the introductory rate, it would go to: 12%. In the meantime Chase raised the normal APR to 18.25%. I stopped using the card, deciding to pay it off as best I could.

Because I stopped using the card Chase decided to raise my rate to increase their profitability to 25%.

I was told I should've read my contract better, they could do as they please. I suggest they start with, in caps: Have A Lawyer Look This Over... We Did.

Um,  Dear putrid greedy arrogant pricks, you were supposed to use the bailout money to free-up credit to us, the people that loaned you the money (at least this is how it was sold to us).

Personally, you have pushed me to the brink of what I can pay. I banked on you coming out of this with a modicum of humility. Trying to relieve our fears, instead you continue to bury us.

More importantly, should I pay. I and others of middle income, have granted you life. And instead of gratitude you have passed your burden of incompetence and greed onto us.

Allow me to continue: Chase, the douche, bought WAMU and I'm now informed a second card will be going to 20%, due to Chase buying WAMU.

I've heard a lot of experts tell us about how this works and they all seem to agree on one thing: AIG and Chase and WAMU, etc., all have profitable parts.

Then they should've borrowed money from profitable parts or sold them to sustain them through their time of crisis. Not claimed bankruptcy or held us hostage "If we go we all go."

We the people deserve to know what's going on. If they have liquid assets they should use them. No?

I know that Chase will want to know how much blood I have left to suck from me or if I can borrow it.

If companies, like Chase, have money to buy other huge banks they don't need a bailout.

I'm getting it every way from Sunday. I got sales tax going up, income down (a lot), having to borrow to pay bills, interest rates (at record lows for banks) mine hitting 25%.

I'm not getting bailed out. I'm getting screwed.

Where is Congress in this?

Obama, I beg you. Stop this financial massacre.

I'm just workin' here. Trying to pay bills and keep a roof over our heads.

You got tough on the Auto industry, get tough on the banks (credit card companies) that are gouging American's.

I implore you. This is embarrassing.

I/we American's have worked hard to build good credit are being destroyed by forces beyond our control.

But not beyond yours...

Please Mr. Wizard, make it happen.

If the middle-class has no money to spend, the economy will grind to a halt.

If banks demand us to pay 25% interest on debts we have been paying timely, why shouldn't we default?

These same banks are being offered record low rates on their money and bail outs, are we not being cheated?

Is this not an offense worthy of looking into?

Obama is hope?
